What a label account gives you
Artist accounts are built for one person releasing their own music. Label accounts are built for teams releasing music on behalf of multiple artists — with the role separation, splits, and reporting a real label needs.
Multi-artist rosters
Manage every artist on your label from one dashboard. Add as many artists as your roster needs — no per-seat pricing.
Per-artist revenue splits
Configure how each release's royalties divide between the artist, featured collaborators, and the label. Splits calculated automatically on every payout.
Artist invitations
Invite artists to link their Nursil account to your label. They keep ownership of their work; you get unified reporting and releases.
Label-level analytics
See every artist's streams, revenue, and platform performance in one view. Per-territory breakdowns included.
Arabic-script metadata
Primary artist names, track titles, album titles — in Arabic script, rendered correctly on every partner platform including Anghami.
Non-exclusive
Distribution only — we never own your masters. Takedown any release at any time.
Artist account vs. label account
Here's how the two plans compare. If you manage more than one active artist, label is almost always the right fit.
| Feature | Artist account | Label account |
|---|---|---|
| Artists per account | 1 | Unlimited roster |
| Pricing | $25.05 / year, flat | Custom by roster size (contact us) |
| Releases per year | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Revenue split management | Single-payee | Per-artist + per-collaborator splits |
| Analytics | Own releases | Label-wide + per-artist |
| Invitations | Not applicable | Invite artists to link to label |
| ISRC / UPC codes | Free | Free |
| Platform coverage | 150+ incl. Anghami | 150+ incl. Anghami |
Who Nursil Music for labels is built for
- Independent MENA labels managing a roster of 3-50 artists releasing regularly.
- Label services companies handling distribution for signed artists who keep their own ownership.
- Publishing-adjacent labels that need per-artist splits for artists and featured collaborators.
- Major-artist management teams releasing through their own label entity rather than directly.
If you're a solo artist, you want the $25.05/year Artist Account instead — it's built for exactly your case.
How onboarding works
Label onboarding is a conversation, not a form. We need to understand your roster, splits, reporting needs, and any existing catalog you want to migrate across. Here's the typical path:
- Initial call or email. You tell us about your label, roster size, and what you need. We sketch a plan and pricing.
- Label account setup. We configure your label entity, connect your payout rails, and set up your dashboard.
- Roster migration. If you're bringing existing artists from another distributor, we plan the catalog transfer timing and coordinate takedowns where needed.
- Release ramp-up. First release goes through QC on the new pipeline, then you're in steady-state — upload, approve, release, report.
Typical timeline from first email to first release live: 1 to 3 weeks, depending on migration complexity.
What Nursil Music for labels does NOT do
Being upfront saves everyone time:
- We don't sign artists. Distribution is non-exclusive. If you want an exclusive recording contract with an artist, that's a separate legal document between you and them.
- We don't do A&R. We don't pick which artists you sign or which singles you release.
- We don't do marketing or playlist pitching. We deliver music to platforms. Marketing is your domain (or a separate agency's).
- We don't handle publishing registration. If your artists need PRO / publishing registration, we can point you at options but we don't administer publishing rights.
Common questions
Quick answers — full FAQ at /faq.html.
- What does a label account cost? Pricing depends on roster size and any custom reporting you need. Contact us and we'll quote honestly.
- Can we migrate our existing catalog? Yes. We'll plan the transfer so existing release URLs keep working where possible.
- Do label accounts get Anghami coverage? Yes — Anghami coverage is the same as Artist accounts, since the underlying distribution pipeline is identical.
- Can artists on our label keep their own Nursil account? Yes. Artists can have both a personal account and a label-linked identity. Splits are per-release, not per-account.
- What payout methods do labels use? Same options as Artist accounts, from your label's single dashboard.
